Soo Flipping Happy!!

Happy Friday Everyone. I have a quick post for you ALL today... My Eye has gotten a LOT better as of yesterday... I still have a little "blur" in my left eye, but Not as much as before, Turns out I had a real BAD ear infection in both my ear. Although my Doctor does not believe that the two are the same thing, since taken my Amoxicillin for the last week it has gotten better, But I wont know for sure until I do in fact see an Optometrist. (which I have to wait for my referral to come through).
It is my week to share with your for this week's Inspiration over at SOC. and I have a very cute and Simple Summer card to share with you today.
I can Not color my images as I want to and my DH stays on top of me to Not strain my eyes any more than I need to, so just stamped my image with different ink pad to give some colors and details to my image.
I used on of my "Stamp of the Week" image from Unity Stamp Co.
"we Have Each Other"
My card was very easy and once I knew what I wanted to do, was very easy and simple to put together. I started out with a Kraft card stock cut at 5X51/2 from PTI, One sheet of paper from Echo Park New "Summer Hello" and some sticker embellishment from the same paper pack. I stamped my "Flip Flops" with "Blueberry Sky and Raspberry Fizz. and for the sentiment Orange Zest. I then used my Martha Stewart black ultra fine marker to create a little frame around the image and sentiment, and I was done.

Here is a close up of my image. Not too happy with my stamping, But again it's hard to get small details when your focus is off with your vision.
used the other side of my DP and another Sticker I created the inside. I can say that you really do NOT need a lot of paper and materials to create a card, Use what you have and you can make some gorgeous creations.

Hope you have a Great day and a Wonderful Weekend.

Who called for the Nurse!

Hello everyone.. I want to say "Happy Mother's Day again to you all. I have two cards to share with you today.. It's two cards  showing ONE image, I am a HUGE fan of Simply Betty Stamp Co., and love her little "wired out of the box image.. But one of my favorite image line are "The Betty's. Last week was "Nurses Appreciation Week".. and giving that My Mom is a Nurse, and both of my Sisters are also in the field, these cards would be great to honor them.
Say hello to Nurse Betty
I wanted to show Betty with 2 different skin tone.. Here are my completed cards.
First up is Nurse Bettyy "Caucasian". I was also doing different shade and tones with the hair color. too.. She has a much more "Red undertone with some Brown. using my Prisma colored pencils and OMS. To color her with.. I used my Gorgeous paper from "My Mind Eye's " Love Me" collection; Sentiment is from The Greeting Farm., For my embellishments, I used my treading water punch from EK Success, Ribbon from Michael's and I made my own Paper Rose. and added a little "red Pearl".
Here is a close up of Betty. with her red hair I gave her, Blue-green eyes.
Here is the inside of my card. I used left over DP for the bottom and stamped one of my "Unity Stamp Co. Images. that I stamped with "Memento Lady Bug ink"
Here is my A.A. Betty. Both of my Cards are standard A2, I just made them different. Still using the same DP. I colored Betty up with my Prisma Pencils and this time I made her hair much more of a Brown Undertone. I used the same colors for the both of them, just used them differently as far as how I laid them down. Used the Same DP from MME. and just added a different red ribbon from Michael's. I had been practicing my "rolled" roses over the weekend, as I saw in a "tutorial".. I liked the sample ones that I was making, and so when it came time to put my card together, I just used the ones that I had been practicing with.
Here is a close up of Betty. I love her little Nurses Uniform" you can use her for real or for play :0))))

And this is the inside of my card, I used just some Scarp paper and my EK Success Punch. to make a cute boarder. I finished off with the Sentiment and little red Heart stamp from Unity Stamp Co. Both of the Sketches that where used on my card are from the "Deconstructing.jen" blog.. She has the most amazing Sketch, and as I am at time lost for a Sketch, I am glad to know that she has some very nice and cute ones that WE can all use.

I have been having some "isues' with my "eyes" since the weekend. It even landed me in the ER on Monday. I have an Appointment with the "Optometrist" in a few days, So please keep me in your thoughts and or prayers.

Dressing Up and Metal with Marci

Happy Monday to all my Wonderful Crafty friends.. I hope your week is off to a great start.. We are having some Gorgeous Sun and weather, so that's what I would call a great start to any day of the week.
I have another Marci card to share with you today.. I colored her a few weeks ago, I even cut her out with my Oval Nesti, then she just kind of sat around. So when I saw the new Inspiration challenge over at La La Land Crafts Blog I decided to play along..
Dress UP Marci
The theme over at La La Land Crafts this week is "All wired UP.' using some kind of wire or metal on your projects.. which I  realized I had no of... But I did have these really cute "gold bead spacer" that I got from "pizzazzaplenty" and they sure have a "metal look" to them; and what was even better is that they played great in my color scheme..  I am soo into "yellow" right now and I will be using a lot for the spring and summer season.. My DP is some of my older "October Afternoon" Thrift Shop. This has always been one of my favorite lines of any of my DP.. and when I dug it out my stash and saw the yellow and blue polka dot I knew it would be perfect. I finished off my layout with some of my decorative tape from my Smash collection.. as long as I have had this tape along with my "smash book" I am glad I found a way to use it.
Here is the Sketch I used.

Here is a close up of Marci. Coloring with my Prisma Pencils and OMS
The inside of my card.. Sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.
and again I am soo into using all of my scraps.. even the smallest of strips could be used for something.
Have a WONDERFUL day and

Happy Scrapping,

Twinkle of Yellow

Hello everyone.. Happy Sunday I hope you are enjoying ever bit of the rest of your weekend. I wanted to show my second card with the Beans collection from "The Greeting Farm". Say Hello to the other sister. "Glimmer Bean" and she is rocking the "Yellow" hair today..
I started her out by stamping her on White Card stock from PTI with memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut her out of the full stamped image, and left just the little "hanging heart with wings" My DP is another Gorgeous Collection from the Miss Caroline Collection from My Minds Eye. I used my circle and scallop circle Nesti and my spellbinder as a "mat" I then used some "distress ink" to add some colors to the inside and then used pop dots to pop Glimmer up. The Sentiment I cut out too and inked the edges to make it less  white. Used my MS butter fly punch for the bigger butter fly and some scrap to cut out. for the smaller butterfly I used my ek success mini punch. and added some bling. to finish off I made some faux stitching with my "white gel pen'.
Here is a close up of Glimmer Bean.. I used my Prisma Pencils and OMS. to color her up. I changed my skin pattern just a little bit, but I am NOT too sure if I like it!!!... and finish her off by adding glitter to her skirt as well her little heart.

twinkle -twinkle Little Star "do you know how LOVED you are??
being that I am soo into finishing off the inside of my card.. I used this Wonderful new stamp of mine from Unity Stamp Co. ( I am a member of the "Stamp of the Week".. and I just LOVE it, I get a new gorgeous stamp and sentiment every week for a very LOW price.. if you are unfamiliar with the stamp of the week you should really check out Unity Stamp Co.) It went really well with the stamp and sentiment.

Happy End of National Scrapbook Day

Hello, everyone.. HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY"" I my self did not do any "scrapbooking",spent the morning, house hunting, and then came home and clean up my "craft area'.. that took 2 hours. After that I was able to sit and do a couple of cards.. I wanted to color up some very colorful hair with my images. So As I was going thur my images, it dawn on me that I have not used any of my TGF images in a couple of weeks. So I decided that it was time for some of them to come back out and play.. The Beans really wanted to come out to play.
Shimmer Bean from "The Greeting Farm" With her Hot Red Hair
I stamped her on PTI white card stock with my memento Black Tuxedo ink. I stamped the whole image as I knew I wanted to use it as a frame. Card stock from PTI.. I colored her hair red, because I knew just the DP that I wanted to use for my card.. "Miss Caroline "Dilly Dally by My Mind's Eye.. Ohh I am going to soo use this paper pad up. I just LOVE every piece of my 6x6 set. Ribbon is also from PTI. I was soo excited to get my 2 brand New M.S. butterfly punches.. the bigger one has been a favorite of mine for every, it has LONG been on my wish list and  I was soo happy when she took me to Michaels and we found it, then I saw the smaller one, and with our coupons I was able to get both. I added some pearls from pizzazaplenty  and flowers from Michael's too.
I colored her up with my 4 different reds with my Prisma colored pencils. I had fun with this and I think it came out pretty darn cute. I put her in a "aqua colored outfit and matching flower, I then added a lot of glitter glue to all her flowers.
Here is the Inside using just some scrap paper and I thought this sentiment and butterfly was really cute with the front sentiment.

I hope you are enjoying your Day and got lots of  "Scrapping" done, I have a few more projects that I want to work on, soo I say good night and
